B.I.T.E started as a question in a lab at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. Three researchers- a microbiologist, a medicinal chemist, and a green chemist- turned that question into a formulation, then a patent, then Adventure Bioscience.
We are a very small team with a very large ambition: to bring the first repellent that's both clinically effective and completely non-toxic to the millions of Americans living in tick country, starting in Pennsylvania, the state with the highest tick-borne disease burden.
